Clothing for VICTORIAN FIRE RELIEF

Intimo Lingerie is sold by consultants (party plan) and they have mostly women's but also some men's lingerie. I am struck by the generosity of this offer and it is something very "real".

I thought that by passing on the word via our group, some of you may know people who could benefit quickly. The company has sent out 200 packages today and their head office staff are working in their own time to get this happening (I have checked with Carys for permission to send this on). Thankfully I don't know anyone personally, but I'm sure some of you do.

This weekend, we were horrified as we witnessed the bush fires devastate and destroy townships throughout Victoria. Countless homes, families, lives and communities have been lost over the weekend and our hearts go out to all  those affected. As an organisation, we have bras, briefs and items of  clothing that we can donate, but many of the support agencies have clearly  stated that they do not want goods supplied as they are unable to coordinate  the storage and distribution.

 Therefore we would like to use the Intimo network to help those families in need. If you have family or friends that have been affected by the bush fire  and can get in contact with them, please let us know. We will put together  packs of Intimo garments in their sizes and ship it direct to where they  are, so that they have some clean clothes and underwear.

 We will be working after hours to pack up the stock and will be working with Australia Post to get the garments where they are needed. Whilst nothing  will alleviate the devastation of this weekend, we hope that we can help in  some small way and utilise the power of our Intimo network to help  contribute and donate the goods that we have available.
