CASUAL TEACHERS – MARRIAGE CELEBRANCY TRAINING -

TASMANIAN LOCATION ONLY

The Gordon is one of the selected providers to deliver ongoing professional development to Marriage Celebrants, across Australia, by the Attorney General’s Department. This training will be held in Hobart and Launceston.

The Centre for Community Services is seeking casual teachers to work closely with the Co-ordinator to deliver face-to-face, on-line and distance education training, using pre-prepared training materials.

Applicants must have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Successful completion of Cert IV in Training and Assessment
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in design, delivery and assessment of vocational education and training to adults
  • Compliance with:
  1. Registration for a minimum of 3 years as a Marriage Celebrant
  2. Commitment to ongoing professional development activities
  3. Recent Satisfactory Performance Review
  4. Conducting a minimum of 3 Marriage Ceremonies in the last 2 years

(It is a requirement of the Attorney General’s Department that all successful applicants will complete a Statutory Declaration to demonstrate that you are able to meet the requirements of the position. Click here for further details.)

Benefits: $56.63 to $58.85 per hour – subject to teaching qualifications

Employment: Casual as required
