Basic things to know:

• Websites vary greatly in cost.

• The major costs in having a website is the Web Design / set up and Maintenance of the actual website and its contents.

• If you choose a website hosting company that provides website templates, you can save a lot of money in set up, and make changes yourself. However, if you are not technically minded or don't have an IT savy relative, you may need to pay for assistance with initial set-up.

• Whatever type of website or webpage you choose, you need to provide your content. If you leave this up to the web-designer, the costs will escalate.

• Having your own Domain Name only costs around $ 20-25 pa. Every celebrant needs to afford to purchase one.
• Use a Domain Manager or Domain Pointer, until you have your own website.

• Your website can be one of the best marketing tools you have.

ACCN Celebrant Website Tips

1. Have your own website if you can afford this. Your choices are immense. However, if you need a suggestion, the ACCN is a Netregistry Afflilate. Netregistry sells an 11 page wbesite template for around $16 per month or $ 194.80 pa

2. Consider a Homepages website - If cost is a concern, you need time to learn the basics and/ or are in a semi residential or rural area.  Costs are less as you website is hosted along with many others on the same website.

There are many such homespages websites on the internet.

However you chosee, the ACCN strongly recommends that you have your own Domain Name and have it re-directed to your Homepages website.
